Internships

Are you interested in getting your fingers in the soil? Do you yearn to see little seedlings poking miraculously out of the ground? Have you ever wondered about the Secrets of a Drying Shed? If so, a Zack Woods Herb Farm Internship may be for you.

Over the past 5 years we have hosted interns from the University of Vermont, Johnson State College, and avid gardeners and green people from all walks of life, and with varying abilities.

We feel that the best way to learn is to do. So interns work right along side us. In exchange for work on the farm, interns get to learn about all aspects of medicinal herb farming from seed propagation to harvesting and drying and everything in between. In addition, interns get great deals on dried herbs, fresh herbs, and live plants and are able to attend classes and tours on the farm free of charge.

Due to our small living quarters, we do not accept residental interns but are able to flex scheduling to meet the needs of our students. Please e-mail us with inquiries.

2006 INTERNSHIP IS FULL. PLEASE APPLY NOW FOR 2007
